Our Physician Assistants / Extenders

With the goal of each patient having an optimal medical experience, the partnering relationship between our doctors and physician assistants is built on trust and strong communication.

A physician assistant (PA) is a licensed healthcare professional who practices medicine under the supervision of a physician and provides a broad range of services that were traditionally performed by a doctor. Working with our surgeons, our PAs are skilled in operating room surgical techniques, perform pre- and post-operative care, and are able to perform special tests and procedures. They also perform physical exams, diagnose illnesses, develop and carry out treatment plans, order and interpret lab tests, suture wounds, and provide healthcare education.
