A graduate of the University of Minnesota, Dr. Burgmeier earned his medical degree from Northwestern University. He completed his orthopedic surgery residency at Los Angeles County + University of Southern California Medical Center, followed by a sports medicine fellowship at the prestigious Miami Orthopedics & Sports Medicine Institute.
Dr. Burgmeier excels in treating complex shoulder and knee ligament injuries, advanced arthroscopic procedures and robotic total joints surgery. His expertise extends beyond the clinic, as he serves as a team physician for the Dallas Legion Professional Ultimate Frisbee team, Frisco High School and other sports organizations.
