Jason LaFon, MS, PA-C

Biography

Jason is a provider at Texas Orthopedic Associates. He has over 25 years of experience in orthopedic foot and ankle injuries such as fracture care, sprains, sport-related injuries, and overuse syndromes. Additionally, he has experience as a surgical assistant as well as post-operative care in total joint replacement such as hip, knee, and ankle in addition to common injuries associated with general orthopedics. A Texas native, he has a Bachelor’s of Science in Zoology with Chemistry minor from Texas Tech University in Lubbock, Texas.

In preparation course work for physician assistant school, he was on the Dean’s List at the University of Pennsylvania and the University of Colorado. He received his Masters of Physician Assistant Science from the University of Detroit Mercy, Detroit, Michigan, one of the oldest programs in the nation. After graduation, he received special recognition by the National Commission on Certification of Physician Assistants (NCCPA) for achievements in and knowledge of surgery. He is a member of the Texas Academy of Physician Assistants and the American Academy of Physician Assistants.
